So your thinking about joining

The Air Cadets 100 (Nantwich) Squadron is the ideal place to find an incredible combination of adventure, opportunity and fun. The cadet experience is open to everyone, so whatever your nationality, background or ability, whether you're male or female, if you're between 13 and 17 years old (or your 12 at the beginning of school year 8)  you can join us.

Many of our Cadets have been through the excellent Scouting organisations and are perhaps looking for a natural progression into something more challenging. Although we are not a recruitment organisation for the RAF, the Cadets are an ideal springboard if you are thinking of joining the armed services after your school education.

Chances are that you will know one or out cadets from school, they will be please to introduce you and guide you through the "first contact" (Cadets are a friendly lot). You could drop a quick e-mail or leave a telephone message to the OC (Officer Commanding), but really you could just come along to any of our meetings between 7.00pm and 9.30pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays. You could bring a parent, or better still bring a friend and join up together. Actually there's no pressure to join, just come as see what we are up to!

Parents

If you're aged over 20 you can volunteer.  No need for military experience or any form of previous training - we'll take care of that. We're just looking for suitable, enthusiastic individuals to help our cadets get the most from their time with us.

The benefits of being a part of the Air Cadet Organisation are the same for volunteers as for cadets - the opportunity to do lots of exciting activities and develop personal skills and talents. As a volunteer this is free to you!
