Flying and Gliding

Joining Air Cadets (100) Squadron opens up lots of opportunities, including the chance to fly! This could include our main training aircraft the Grob G103A

Just imagine, you’re at  2,000ft at the controls of an 8 metre long highly manoeuvrable training aircraft. The adrenaline is flowing as your instructor guides you through the twists and turns, dives and climbs. It’s the biggest reasons our cadets join up.

It’s our aim to get you airborne as often as possible, as a passenger in a light aircraft, a glider or even on-board RAF aircraft such as our Typhoon fast-jet or a Chinook helicopter.
